The spider lilies in the rice fields behind the brewery are in full bloom!

The vivid red flowers and the golden rice ears create a beautiful scene. Many people out for a walk often stop to take pictures.
These spider lilies were planted around 2008 through the cooperation of Izumibashi Sake Brewery and local farmers, with the hope that the stunning scenery could be enjoyed by the local community. Over the years, the number of lilies has increased naturally in the soil.
Because their bulbs contain poison, in the past, spider lilies were planted along the edges of rice fields to ward off moles.
Please come and see them for yourself!
